Şişecam Chopped strands are manufactured in desired lengths from E-glass fibers. Glass fibers are coated with a suitable binder in conformity with the resin to be used in molds.
Chopped strand glass fibers used as thermoplastic reinforcements are utilized in automotive, electric, electronic industries and in manufacture of radiators and camera parts. On the other hand chopped strands used in polyester resin for pre-molded compounds are utilized in small GRP parts for electrical industries.
